Armed rebel kills 3 in Syria Hama

The incident took place on Saturday when the bomber blew up a car packed with explosives near a government building in the region.

The bomber was also killed in the blast and it is expected that the number of casualties will rise.

The Saturday attack comes in the wake of another deadly attack on the village of al-Treimseh in eastern Syria, where dozens of civilians were killed and tens of others injured on Thursday.

The foreign-backed armed gangs have announced that they are adopting a strategy of carrying out assassinations to achieve their objectives. On Friday, a colonel of the self-proclaimed Free Syrian Army set a deadline of July 31 for government figures to defect or face assassination.

Syria has been gripped by more than 16 months of unrest with Damascus blaming “outlaws, saboteurs, and armed terrorist groups” for the unrest.

Damascus also says that the chaos is being orchestrated from outside the country and the security forces have been given clear instructions not to harm civilians.

Syria has repeatedly said that the rebels are supported by Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar as well as Western powers.
