LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Gas prices in Arkansas have dropped by more than 30 cents per gallon over the past month.
AAA says the average price Monday for a gallon of unleaded gas was $3.46 in Arkansas. That’s down from an average price of $3.77 a month ago and from last week’s average of $3.55.
The national average Monday was $3.72.
Around the state, the Fort Smith and Little Rock metropolitan areas had the lowest average, at $3.41 a gallon. Fayetteville-Springdale-Rogers came in at $3.43, while both Pine Bluff and Texarkana were at $3.48 per gallon.
