President Barack Obama’s ability to be on the ballot in Arizona for presidential elections this year is dependent on verification of his birth certificate.

Special Agent Joshua Wisch, of the attorney general’s office in Hawaii, is denying Arizona’s secretary of state confirmation of Obama’s birth records without legitimate reason for the request.

Ken Bennett, Arizona secretary of state has been in contact with Wisch through phone calls and emails.

Wisch is demanding legal authority to justify Bennett’s requests.

Only after proper authority will Wisch verify Obama’s birth certificate.

Recently the issue of Obama’s country of birth has been revived by an article on Breitbart News which showed a promotional booklet produced in 1991 by Barack Obama’s then-literary agency, Acton Dystel, which touts Obama as “born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii.”

Obama’s natural born citizenship has been in question, and rightfully so.

According to the US Constitution , eligibility for presidency is defined as:

No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President, neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States.

A natural born citizen was further defined by a Supreme Court ruling in 1875 in the case of Minor v. Happersett where it was found that a natural born citizen was a child or children born of two US citizens.

On President Obama’s long form birth certificate it says that:

• Barack Hussein Obama II was born on August 4, 1961 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
• Obama’s mother is Stanley Ann Dunham was born in Wichita, Kansas.
• Obama’s father is Barack Obama Sr. was born in Nyanza Province, Kenya.

Many states are passing or have passed resolutions to require Presidential candidates prove their natural born citizenship. They are interested in keeping the integrity of our electoral process in line with the mandates set forth in the US Constitution.

In Missouri, the House and Senate passed a bill that requires a Presidential candidate prove his US citizenship. Bill sponsor Rep. Lyle Rowland, R-Taney, said “This bill isn’t about any one particular person. It is about the process of justifying the qualifications of the President and Vice President of the United States with our Secretary of State. This will give our voters proof positive that they meet the qualifications set forth by the Constitution of the United States.”

In Kansas, HB 2224 is a bill that mandates a Presidential candidate prove his eligibility for President by providing his birth certificate.

It states that “within 10 days after the submittal of the names of the candidates, the national political party committee shall submit proof that such candidates are natural born citizens of the United States by providing a document or a photocopy of such document listed in paragraphs (1) through (13) of K.S.A. 25-2309(l), and amendments thereto, to the secretary of state, or by seeking an assessment of evidence of United States citizenship by the state election board pursuant to K.S.A. 25-2309(m), and amendments thereto.”

Arizona approved a Candidate Certification bill that requires any candidate for the Presidency “to provide first-source, vaulted proof of eligibility under Article II, Section 1, of the US Constitution before their names can appear on the state’s ballot.”

Through Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s Cold Case Posse , there has been a substantial lack of evidence to prove Obama’s background. It seems that every shred of paperwork has been suppressed by the Obama administration.

The missing records include:

• Passport records
• Obama kindergarten records
• Punahou School records
• Occidental College records
• Columbia University records
• Columbia thesis
• Harvard Law School records
• Harvard Law Review articles
• University of Chicago scholarly articles
• Illinois State Bar Association records
• Illinois State Senate records/schedules (reportedly lost)
• Medical records
• Obama/Dunham marriage license
• Obama/Dunham divorce documents
• Soetoro/Dunham marriage license
• Adoption records
• The long-form Certificate of Live Birth

The Arizona Candidate Certification Bill, HB 2480 will require Barack Obama prove his eligibility to the US presidency. Obama’s ability to appear on the Grand Canyon State’s ballot would be contingent on this proof. This bill has met extreme resistance with members of the state level government.

Carl Seel, Arizona State Representative who sponsored the bill, says: “It is still stalled in the Senate President Steve Pierce’s office, and is being held up by both Pearce and Senator Nancy Barto(R).” Seel has said that the bill “merely requires all candidates running for office to declare under penalty of perjury that they are qualified for the office they seek” and enables citizens of Arizona to sue if there is evidence to the contrary.
