FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda Online retailer Amazon has launched a “Best of Digital” store that helps consumers find highly recommended apps, music, video games and TV shows for their digital devices.
The site was launched to coincide with the Christmas digital buying rush, capitalizing on a phenomenon that takes place on December 25 and 26 as consumers open their presents, fire up their newly gifted tablets and smartphones for the first time and then go searching for content to fill them with.
In the past Amazon has seen its largest day of digital sales on Christmas day (December 25), followed by December 26.
“People everywhere will unwrap mobile devices over the holidays — Kindles, MP3 players, smartphones and tablets — and as soon as they’re out of the box, it’s only natural to want to load them up with great digital entertainment,” said Craig Pape, Director of Music at Amazon.com. “Not surprisingly, we see the largest jump in digital product sales on Christmas and during the week following the holiday.”
Apple features similar selections on iTunes to help consumers with newly purchased devices fill them up with tried and tested apps. The company’s selection includes apps such as Facebook, Evernote, LinkedIn, Flipboard, GarageBand, Instagram and Pandora.
Amazon is following Apple’s lead by making it easier for Android-newbies to find great apps in one place, without needing to search the web or the Google Android Market.
Pape said, “[t]his year, we’re making it easier and more convenient than ever to get all the content they want — along with some hot deals on digital — all in one place.”
Amazon’s selection of recommended Android apps includes sports score and news app ESPN Score Center, business-related social networking app LinkedIn, Microsoft Office mobile productivity suite Quickoffice Pro and weather app The Weather Channel for Android.
Rovio Mobile’s Angry Birds has been one of the hottest mobile games for 2011. App Store Analyst Distimo named it the most downloaded app across all app stores for 2011 and Amazon has selected it as the most recommended Android game for 2011.
Amazon’s additional best game picks for 2011 include Zynga’s interactive word game Words with Friends, PopCap’s popular gem game Bejeweled and Atari’s retro gaming app Atari’s Greatest Hits.
