The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Airbus Group Tom Enders said “I feel obliged to mention two points, one being that Airbus is a fully European company formed in partnership with Germany, France, Britain and Italy; the issue is of utmost importance since we look to have a share in forming economic relations between Iran and the European Union (EU) member countries.”
“The second issue is that we hold a long-term vision in cooperation with Iran while sale of aircraft, assistance in the maintenance of airplanes, flight guidance system modernization remain as important issues; we focus on the help we can offer in technical areas,” he noted.
“Our goal is to encourage young people to work in the field of aviation and our attention is focused on social cooperation and development of youth empowerment,” highlighted Airbus Group CEO.
Tom Enders further continued “consequently, Airbus and ATR companies would not merely eye aircraft sales rather we aim to create a fruitful and long-lasting relationship.”
“Despite the lifting of sanctions, difficult issues like financing remain ahead for which we possess certain solutions,” underlined the official concluding “therefore, the movement marks the starting point of a strong and high-yielding relationship with Iran, Iran Air and other companies as well as in the field of social ties between our countries and we hope to make the talented Iranian youth more prosperous for the future of aviation industry.”
