In a statement released on Wednesday, the NATO-led ISAF said that the soldiers were killed after their convoy was hit by a roadside bomb in the south of the country on Tuesday.
The statement gave no more details on the nationality of the soldiers or the exact location of the incident that led to their death.
According to iCasualties.org, at least 51 foreign soldiers have lost their lives in Afghanistan so far in 2012, thirty seven of them from the US.
The security situation remains fragile in Afghanistan despite the presence of thousands of foreign forces.
The increasing number of troop casualties in Afghanistan has caused widespread anger in the US and other NATO member states, undermining public support for the Afghan war.
