Awake Goy Authorities responded to reports of an active shooter at a South Carolina mall Saturday, The State newspaper reported.
Parts of the Columbiana Mall at Harbison in Columbia were evacuated after witnesses reported shots being fired in the area of the Dillard’s and T-Mobile stores.
Shoppers were told by police to exit the mall with their hands up so authorities could search for weapons, the paper reported.
No victims have been located, according to Fox-8.
Columbia police officers were searching the mall and surrounding area for the shooter or shooters and any possible victims.
Witnesses reported as many as 40 police vehicles at the scene.
