In today’s show originally broadcast on May 7 2021, Andy is joined by Willem Felderhof, for a show entitled, “Tenerife Airport Disaster: The Deadliest Accident In Aviation History.”
Being a former pilot for KLM, Willem provides a scholastic analysis into the background and the aftermath of the 1977 crash between two Boeing 747 Jumbo Jets, which took place on the runway of Tenerife’s Los Rodeos Airport, that tragically killed 583 people and left only 61 survivors. Willem also talked about the dangers of Groupthink today and the parallels that has with what happened in the Tenerife Airport disaster.
