Awake Goy 
A president who refuses to accept defeat,
Who continues to insist that facts are on his side,
Who asks his followers to overturn the results of a free democratic election,
Who calls for insurrection and violence
Is a stain on the sacred office.
A leader who downplays the severity of a deadly virus
Who encourages others to ignore basic safety precautions
Has blood on his hands.
The souls of 300,000 departed American are crying out to us!
O God, help us to silence the hate of thugs,
Racists, white supremacists, anti-Semitic ruffians.
Help us, God.
Help our nation reclaim her dignity
Help us regain our sanity
Help us wipe out the pandemic that is raging across our land
By heeding science over wild conspiracy theories.
Work through us, God.
Lead us on the path to honor
The road to peace.
Revive our despondent spirits,
Bless us with hope, God,
Show us that we can move from anger to faith
From despair to courage
From days of anguish to a new time of joy.
With a new administration about to be sworn in
Fill our leaders with wisdom, with honesty and with a dedication to liberty.
Teach us how to devote ourselves,
Body and soul, to a great healing of mind and heart.
Bless us, God, with peace and acts of grace.
Remind us that together we can reach higher,
We can live up to our goodness, seek justice,
Lift up the weak, feed the hungry, shelter the homeless.
Hand in hand
Red, blue, young and old
Every race and faith
United States – One fate
In Your light,
