BETHLEHEM (Ma’an) — Six Palestinians were injured by plastic-coated bullets on Monday in clashes with Israeli forces near Bethlehem, medics said.
Israeli troops fired tear gas and plastic bullets in the Um Rukbeh area of al-Khader, medics told Ma’an.
A tear gas grenade fell in the home of Abdullah al-Masri, causing nine family members including a pregnant woman to suffer tear gas inhalation.
An Israeli military spokeswoman said around 40 Palestinians rioted in the area and threw rocks at Israeli forces who responded with riot dispersal means.
