4 Gazans wounded in Israeli airstrikes

In the early hours of Sunday morning, three civilians were injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting the al-Tufah neighborhood of Gaza City.

And late on Saturday night, an Israeli Apache helicopter fired a missile at the Zeitun neighborhood of Gaza City as drones flew over the area. One civilian was wounded in the assault.

The Israeli army later confirmed the attacks on the northern Gaza Strip.

More than 1,400 Palestinians were killed during Israel’s December 2008-January 2009 war on the people of the Gaza Strip.

The Gaza Strip is the world’s largest open-air prison, with Tel Aviv exercising full control over the airspace, territorial waters, and border crossings of the blockaded territory.
