(Scroll down for video) Two robbers were arrested and charged after stealing thousands of dollars in chicken wings, according to police reports in Georgia.

Two storage workers are accused of stealing $65,000 worth of frozen chicken wings amid a nationwide high demand for the snack.

Dewayne Patterson, 35, and Renaldo Jackson, 26, allegedly used a rental truck to rob 10 pallets of frozen wings from Nordic Cold Storage in Lawrenceville, according to a local television news station.

The two allegedly pulled off the robbery in the middle of the day. Jackson allegedly used a forklift to load the wings, while Patterson acted as a lookout.

They were arrested on Wednesday and charged with one count of felony theft.

They were later released on bail of $2,950. The chicken wings, however, were never found.

The theft comes in the perfect time as poultry producers are reporting that the price of chicken wings climbed to a record high due to high demand.
