(Scroll down for video) Two young men, one who is Jewish and the other who is Muslim, decided to open an ice cream shop together in The ice cream store comes with a very sweet message and has not stopped growing since it opened for business for Jews and Muslims last year.

Young entrepreneurs Adam Ziv and Alaa Sawitat, opened the homemade ice cream shop in the Tarshiha market last July.

“We are not just a novelty of being coexisting Muslim and Jewish ice cream shop,” the 27-year-old Jewish businessman told news reporters. “We also make ice cream that people like,” he added.

 


In the video below you can see how a religious Muslim woman dressed in a burka enjoys a delicious ice cone.

Bouza, which means frozen in Arabic, serves a wide range of flavors inspired by local produce in the region of Galilee, with prices ranging from around $2.50 to $3.00.

Ziv added: “We tried some of the Middle Eastern flavors with a blend of pomegranate, lemon, chocolate and spearmint.

We are still working on an ice cream flavored kanafeh, which means a Palestinian cheesecake, but have not found the right recipe yet.”
