If you are lazy to go out but still want to enjoy some food from Burger King, it is now possible, according to news media reports.
Burger King has been slowly deploying home delivery services early this year and gradually expanding the service to various cities across the United States.
Now, the chain is offering home delivery in Miami, Houston, Washington D.C. and announced yesterday that home delivery will be available in New York for the first time.
For Burger King to launch this service in New York, shows that the chain is definitely serious about home delivery. New York is a tough market to crack, with large companies like Seamless dominating
the market, not to mention the fact that McDonald’s is already offering home delivery throughout the city.
Burger King uses a patented thermal container to keep food warm, and for delivery within a certain radius for orders over $10. But delivery is not comprehensive, with items like desserts and smoothies Soft Serve not included, for obvious reasons.
Burger King has a separate website for home delivery, BKDelivers.com, offering a particular menu, localities and the tools to manage a personal account.
