FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda On Saturday, the Russian police announced that 17 policemen were killed and another 24 police and security personnel were wounded in the fighting.
On Friday, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov said seven members of an armed group, including its leader, had been killed.
Russian forces fought a war against Chechen rebels between 1994 and 1996, with the conflict resuming in 1999.
Chechnya has been hit by a wave of violence in recent weeks, with fighters carrying out attacks on an almost daily basis.
